How to know if this product will work on your house?

It's simple. Just go out to your foundation vent mesh that is broken and measure the opening width and height. If the measurement matches the picture on this page (7-7/8" wide x 7-1/4" tall), these kits should work to repair the foundation vent screens on your house. Galvanized:

Our galvanized option will work for the majority of customers. This option has good rust resistance in non coastal climates. Even for coastal climates, if cost is your primary concern, these galvized kits will likely last until your little kids graduate or longer.

Stainless Steel:

Our Stainless Steel option is a premium option for those who don't want to worry about their foundation vent screen repair kits rusting out. These kits are made with 304 Stainless Steel frames, 304 Stainless Steel mesh and Stainless Steel screws to provide a very rust resistant solution for our customers who live in coastal areas.

These precut screens are sized to fit the foundation vent screen repair kits sold here. Use these extra screens to help you deal with foundation vents that have utilities running through them.

How can these extra screens help?

When repairing foundation vents with utilities running through them, doubling up on the mesh covering the hole is recommended. Doubling up on the mesh allows you to cut the first layer of screen from one direction, and the second layer of screen from another direction. When the screens are laid on top of one another each screen's uncut side overlaps the other screen's cut side. This closes up any holes that might allow critters in.

When you order this accessory, it will be included in one of the foundation vent screen repair kits that you purchased.

• 1 Piece of mesh sized for the foundation vent screen repair frame.
• If you buy one of these extra meshes along with a foundation vent screen repair kit, for each extra screen purchased we will cut one of the frames in the foundation vent screen repair kit so that it can bend open around utilities.
• Extra screens will be packaged along with the associated foundation vent screen repair kits they are ordered with.
